This Saturday, Sept. 10, is Coast Day. And you might be surprised how much fun Coast Day can be in Philadelphia, even without an ocean.
When we talk about the Pennsylvania coast, we’re talking about the Delaware River—that wide, winding waterway just a few blocks from Bridge.
And this weekend there will be all kinds of things to do along the coastline and in the water. Free boat rides. Swan pedal-boats. Model boat racing. Fishing. A scavenger hunt. The list goes on, but the fun hasn’t even started yet. So head down to Walnut Plaza on Columbus Blvd after 11 am on Saturday and see the rest for yourself.
